I. Absolutely No Whining.

II. The operation of this Raffle is governed by the Book of Proverbs, The Laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and U.S. Federal Law.

III. This Raffle is sponsored by Sub-Minute Solutions and Aspiring Technologies. We actively support the Sniping/Rifle shooter's community.

IV. Ken Hunter (raffle operator) reserves final judgment on all issues.

V. This raffle is for all the good people who are responsible law abiding citizens, that visit our snipercountry website and help make it a great place to visit.

VI. The funds generated by this raffle will be used for the following:
  • Payment for and delivery of the featured custom M1A to some lucky player.
  • Operations for the snipercountry website.
  • Contributions to Navy Relief and Army Emergency Relief.
  • Funding for further tactical equipment development by Sub-Minute Solutions
  • Drawings for and giveaways of subsequent prizes to snipercountry visitors. These funds will be coming from the good people that make snipercountry a great place to visit - so those funds shall be re-invested in those good people.

VII. Here's how the Raffle will operate:

PHASE I (TICKET REGISTRATION):
COMPLETED

1. Players must complete the registration form -- all information is required. This online entry form is the ONLY acceptable means of registration - no exceptions.  Ticket price is $25.00 (U.S.) each.

2. You will receive a reply with your raffle ticket numbers.

3. PLEASE - DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY YET.  PAYMENTS WILL BE CALLED FOR AT CLOSING OF THE TICKET REGISTRATION.

The goal is to sell at least 200 tickets.  The raffle ticket registration will be closed promptly on: Saturday 1 December 2001, 23:30 GMT. This should give all Snipercountry visitors a chance to play if they wish.
As soon as we meet both requirements - the registration process will be shut down. That means the ticket sales is closed.  In the event the ending date arrives - and - we have not sold 200 tickets - a decision will be made by the raffle sponsor(s) regarding the call for payments. If the call for payments is made - the prizes WILL BE AWARDED.

PHASE II (TICKET PAYMENT):
ACTIVE

1. Once the email ticket registry is closed - A notice will be posted for all ticket purchasers to send payment for their tickets.

Payment can be made in one of the following ways:

PHASE III (DRAWINGS AND AWARDS):
PENDING

Once all payments are in, 5 tickets will be drawn. The first ticket will be the winner of the featured M1A Rifle. The 2nd ticket holder will receive a Tactical Intervention Sling from Tactical Intervention Specialists).  The third, fourth, and fifth ticket holders will receive a Mildot Master slide rule.   Other items may be added as vendors see the raffle and wish to contribute.

3. Ken Hunter, a Federally licensed firearms dealer will handle delivery of the custom M1A rifle to the winner or the FFL holder designated by that winner.

Miscellaneous Notes:

I. All Federal, State and Local laws apply. To win the rifle - the participant must pass the NICS Insta-check. Failure to do so will disqualify the participant with the winning ticket. If you can not pass the NICS background check required for purchase of a firearm - PLEASE DO NOT PLAY

II. If the winner of the featured M1A rifle fails the background check - the holder of the 2nd ticket drawn will receive the rifle. Note: Ticket money will NOT be refunded if you fail
the background check.
This pass-down will continue if necessary until we find a ticket holder eligible to legally own this rifle.

III. Persons NOT eligible to play:
Ken Hunter, members of his immediate family, and Paul Gallagher - President and CEO of Sub-Minute Solutions. Mr. Gallagher will be the second recipient of the raffle ticket email registry.

IV. The staff of snipercountry and all snipercountry visitors are invited to play. NO raffle players will receive or be privy to any internal communications regarding the raffle (communication blackout).

V. Ken Hunter is not responsible for your E-mail service, internet connection, or any other interference with your ability to play.

VI. Names of deadbeat raffle players (those that do not pay for tickets they registered for) will be posted.

VII. We elected to sell at least 200 tickets to raise a desired sum of money. We will keep the number of tickets sold as close to 200 as possible. The reasoning for that is the larger the ticket pool - the less your chances of winning.

VIII. The actual tickets will be pooled in a small bucket and drawn by my church Pastor. That way - Ken Hunter only plays the role of 'Raffle Operator';

IX. Response to your registration will not be immediate. Ken Hunter will service each of these requests personally - so it may be several hours before you receive an Email acknowledgement.
