• Payment for and delivery of the two featured rifles to the lucky winners. Note - maximum FFL transfer fee is $30.00
• Operations for the snipercountry website.  This particular raffle will sponsor the operations of the SniperCountry Website.  This allows The SniperCountry Staff to fund matches, sponsor giveaways, and pay for any specialized web development if needed.

VII. Here's how the Raffle will operate:

PHASE I (TICKET REGISTRATION):   CLOSED

1. Players must complete the registration form -- all information is required. This online entry form is the ONLY acceptable means of registration - no exceptions.  Ticket price is $25.00 (U.S.) each.

2. You will receive a reply with your raffle ticket numbers.

3. PLEASE - DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY YET.  PAYMENTS WILL BE CALLED FOR AT CLOSING OF THE TICKET REGISTRATION.

The goal is to sell at least 500 tickets. The Raffle registration period starts today, Sunday 23-Nov-2003, and will close when we hit 500 tickets.  Considering the rifles up for grabs - it won't take too long to sell 500 tickets. 

 When ticket sales is closed - we need to have sold at least 500 tickets.  This should give all visitors a chance to play if they wish (we received complaints last time, saying the raffle closed too quickly).  As soon as we meet the requirement (sell 500 tickets)  the registration process will be shut down. That means the ticket sales is closed.

We do a registration process ahead of the call for payments. This is to avoid the labor of having to refund all those raffle payments - in the event there's not enough interest in the rifles being raffled.   If the call for payments is made - the prizes WILL BE AWARDED.

PHASE II (TICKET PAYMENT):    ---> ACTIVE  <---

1. Once the email ticket registry is closed - A notice will be posted for all ticket purchasers to send payment for their tickets.  We will also attempt to contact all registrants via email to notify them to send payment. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR EMAIL REGULARLY DURING THE RAFFLE.  I will send a broadcast email to all registered users.

PHASE III (DRAWINGS AND AWARDS):   (NOT YET)

The drawing will be held as soon as all payments have been received. I anticipate this being sometime Mid-late December. I would like to get this done before Christmas.

Once all payments are in, 10  tickets will be drawn. The 1st Place ticket will be allowed to pick which of the featured rifles he/she wishes to own. 

The 8th Place ticket holder will receive a signed copy of One Shot Brotherhood - donated by Iron Brigade Armory.

The 9th Place ticket holder will receive a Turner AWS Sling in OD Green - donated by Iron Brigade Armory.

The 10th Place ticket holder will receive a copy of - Tim Murphy - written by Rocky Chandler. This is a story of our nation's first sniper back in the frontier days - donated by Iron Brigade Armory.

The 11th Place ticket holder will receive a Tactical Intervention sling donated by Tactical Intervention Specialists

Other items may be added as vendors see the raffle and wish to contribute.  

The featured rifles will be shipped directly from the respective builders to the FFL holder designated by the first two rifle winners. 

Miscellaneous Notes:

I. All Federal, State and Local laws apply. To win the featured rifles - the participants must pass the NICS Insta-check. Failure to do so will disqualify the participant with the winning ticket. If you can not pass the NICS background check required for purchase of a firearm - PLEASE DO NOT PLAY. 

II. If the winner of the featured rifle fails the background check - the holder of the 3rd or successive  ticket(s) drawn will receive the rifle. Note: Ticket money will NOT be refunded if you fail the background check. This pass-down will continue if necessary until we find a ticket holder eligible to legally own the respective rifle.

III. Persons NOT eligible to play: 
Ken Hunter, members of his immediate family, George Gardner (G.A. Precision), Norm Chandler (Iron Brigade Armory) and members of their respective families.  Since this raffle sponsors the direct operation of Snipercountry,  The SniperCountry Staff - named as: Marius Ferreira, Pete Reiff, Scott Powers, and Gary Blosser (aka Sarge) are also NOT eligible to play.  

IV. We are not responsible for your E-mail service, internet connection, or any other interference with your ability to play. 

V. Names of deadbeat raffle players (those that do not pay for tickets they registered for) will be posted.

VI. We elected to sell at least 500 tickets to raise a desired sum of money. We will keep the number of tickets sold as close to 500 as possible. The reasoning for that is the larger the ticket pool - the less your chances of winning. 

VIII. The actual tickets will be pooled in a small bucket and drawn by my neighbor's 4 year old daughter - (she could care less about the outcome). That way - I ( Ken Hunter )  only play the role of 'Raffle Operator';

IX. Response to your registration will not be immediate. Ken Hunter will service each of these requests personally - so it may be several hours before you receive an Email acknowledgement.  (I work for a living too)
